Device Setup

First Time Setup:

You should have an enclayve device and an AC Power Adapter*

  1. Download the enclayve app

  2. Connect your device to power
    Your device must be able to connect to your home WiFi network.

  3. Open the enclayve app
    4. Accept the EULA and you will see the screen below. Tap on "SET UP A DEVICE" and the app will guide you (similiar to the video below)
    The app will find your device using Bluetooth, so make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

  4. Done!

*If convenient, you can use your own USB power source (e.g. the USB port on a powered hub) however, enclayve cannot guarantee your specific source will work. Your USB power source should be on at all times.

If you've moved your device to a new location where your home WiFi netwwork has changed, another setup is required to maintain secure and private connections with everyone..

In general, your app will recognize this situation and prompt you for how to do the setup.
