Networking Issues
The device setup verifies that network access to your device is working properly though a Local Access test and a Global Access test.
Local Access Failed >
If your app is reporting a Local Access failure, it means the app was unable to find your device on your home network. Although this is rare, it must be addressed.
See this.
Global Access Failed >
If your app is reporting a Global Access failure, it means the automated setup of your router (or gateway) has failed.
Although this does not happen often, it can be solved with two checks:
- Verify your device is placed correctly within your home network. See this.
- Verify your home network's router has enabled Universal Plug n' Play (UPnP). See
this.
